AirCard Pro Dual Review
Trackers have become one of the most popular examples of EDC and travel gear. That reassurance you haven’t left anything behind, or that your bag has made it onto your plane. I’ve used a lot other the years, but my favourite has been the AirCard from Rolling Square. So when they sent me the latest version, the AirCard Pro Dual I was looking forward to seeing what’s new.
As always with my reviews, any and all opinions in this article are my own formed through testing and research. Rolling Square has had no influence besides submitting the AirCard Pro Dual to me for review.

What’s new with the AirCard Pro Dual?
Previously you had to choose what version of the wallet tracker you wanted, white was for android users, black was for iPhone. Now there’s a third choice, a quite literal grey area in between. The Grey supports both Android and iPhone devices by integrating Google’s Find Hub and Apple’s Find My apps.

Design
This is my third version of the AirCard now, all the way back from the original. I loved the white design of the last android exclusive model. As soon as I took it out of my wallet it instantly grabbed attention. The grey is a lot more discreet, however, it fits my aesthetic a lot more.
A great feature is a little circle that glows in the dark. Although it’s more relevant on the AirNotch which is likely to be inside a bag, if the AirCard Pro Dual is ever rolling loose it’ll be easier to visually find too.
The Air Family
This is one of the latest additions to Rolling Square’s family of Air products. These are the “Dual” models, taking everything that made the previous generation unique, but now adding dual functionality so that it’s compatible with both iPhone and Android.
Setting Up the AirCard Pro Dual
Setting up the AirCard Pro Dual was arguably even easier this time around. Last time with the older generation AirCard Pro I had issues with it connecting, however the blame of this lies solely on Google’s software. There’s clearly been some updates on the app as it was trying to connect before I even got the AirCard out of the packaging, the same can be said for the AirNotch Pro which Rolling Square sent to me together.
Dual Tracking
It’s great to see a tracker that works with both Android and iPhone systems, proving you don’t have to pick one over the other.
Having dual tracking makes it easier for everyone. You can buy this as a gift knowing it doesn’t matter if you don’t know what phone the recipient has. You can buy this for yourself knowing you aren’t further trapping yourself in the same ecosystem.

Where to use the AirCard Pro Dual
So I now have two AirCards, the Pro and the Pro Dual, and both are constantly being used. The first place I have one is my wallet. I have ADHD, I lose stuff all the time, my keys and wallet are the two main victims of this. The slim profile design makes it absolutely perfect for that space and with it being only slightly thicker than a credit card doesn’t bulk it out.
The second place is in my Urth Camera Bag Insert. One thing I wasn’t happy about with the insert was that it has a very slim storage pocket in the lid and that it easily gets bulked out. This is where the AirCard is perfect to slip in. Not only is it the perfect size, but the pocket itself is so discreet, the AirCard is much more suited here than the AirNotch as there isn’t anything visibly hanging off the exterior.
AirCard Pro Dual Tracking Software
I have my AirCard Pro Dual paired with the Google Find Hub app. It’s really easy to use and find my devices, the majority of which are close by when travelling but I like having the reassurance of knowing all my gear is with me without having to rummage through my bag.
The AirCard Dual Pro is a Bluetooth tracker, meaning it emits low energy Bluetooth signal to connect to nearby devices and create a network to triangulate the signal.
Louder Speakers
Rolling Square doesn’t specify exactly how loud the AirCard Pro Dual Pro is, but do assure you it’s the loudest tracker in its class. I have tested it, and can verify it’s pretty loud making it easier to locate. And I have already lost my wallet numerous times in the few weeks I have had this on test. The ring in the household is pretty much an alarm system to my family that I have lost it again.
Battery Life and Charging with the AirCard Pro Dual
I love how this tracker no longer requires batteries or replacing. If the battery does run low, you can use a wireless charger to get it back to 100% for another 12 months. Previously I wouldn’t bring a wireless charger with me on my travels, but I’m never away for a full year. Now I have moved to the Sharge IceMag 2.0. I have a power bank with one built in so it’ll never be an issue.
Durability
The card is made from a mixture of epoxy fibreglass resin and CNC machined aluminium. I have a really bad habit of putting my wallet in my back pocket and sitting on it, this is a tracker that feels tough and premium. It is just as well built as the previous model, and that card has been with me 24/7 and I have not been gentle with it in the slightest.
Sherr.it
One of the features I loved about all the generations is the integrated digital business card. The AirCard Pro Dual continues this feature, but it’s worth noting that the NFC capabilities still haven’t returned. I loved the ability to share my details with just a tap.
Still setting up Sherr.it profile is nice and easy, and if you already have a profile it’s even easier. Scanning the QR I was brought to a page prompting me to link the card to my account, and with one tap to confirm and my new card was ready to go. As an existing user, all in the process took less than a minute.

AirCard Pro Dual: Final thoughts
The original AirCard was a change in shape that trackers genuinely needed. One size does not fit all, and the AirCard shape was perfect for bags and wallets. The next generation changed it to metal to be more durable and added wireless charging, and now this version has dual tracking.
Each generation of the AirCard has added features and made changes that think about the consumer. Making it a compelling Airtag alternative.
