Known for having a rich history, the United Kingdom is full of historical sites, museums, as well as beautiful country scenery to enjoy. Made up of England, Scotland and Wales, the UK has everything from bustling cities and bars to vibrant landscapes. As my birthplace and home, the UK holds a special place in my heart.
With fifteen national parks across the countries and sixty-nine cities, each one unique in its own way,you will never run out of places to visit.
England: Where Tradition Meets Modernity
London’s Timeless Allure:
Join me in England with the pulsating heartbeat of the nation – London. From the historic Tower of London to the modern marvel of the Shard, this city seamlessly blends tradition and modernity. I love to immerse myself in the bustling energy of Covent Garden, explore the artistry of the British Museum, and take a leisurely stroll along the River Thames.
Escape to the country:
Sometimes you just need to escape the city and discover England’s picturesque countryside. The Cotswolds beckon with honey-coloured cottages, while the Lake District offers serene lakes framed by majestic mountains. I have spent days hiking across the Lake District surrounded by nature, and finished in the seaside town of Whitby for a well earned rest.

Edinburgh’s Royal Splendor:
Venture north to Scotland and explore the regal city of Edinburgh. Uncover the secrets of Edinburgh Castle, walk the historic Royal Mile, and absorb the city’s artistic vibe at the Scottish National Gallery. For a panoramic view, hike up Arthur’s Seat – a dormant volcano at the city’s centre.
Highland Adventures:
The Scottish Highlands captivate with their untamed beauty. Embark on the North Coast 500 for a road trip through rugged landscapes, discover the mysterious Loch Ness, and hike in Glen Coe, a valley steeped in history and natural grandeur. I got a ferry to the Island of Arran, and spent a day
Wales: Ancient Castles, Natural Wonders and Dragons
Cardiff’s Cultural Hub:
Cross the border into Wales and find yourself in Cardiff, a city pulsating with cultural vigor. Explore Cardiff Castle, delve into Welsh history at St Fagans National Museum, and embrace the lively atmosphere of Cardiff Bay.
